Ferric chloride solution
- Chemical name:Ferric chloride solution
- Molecular formula :FeCl3
- Molecular weight :162.21
- Package:Plastic barrel or tank vehicle
- appearance:Brownish liquid
1. Use:
Good substitute of solid ferric chloride. In photoengraving;
photography; manufacture of other Fe salts, pigments, ink; as
catalyst in organic reactions; as mordant in dyeing and printing
textiles; oxidizing agent in dye manufacute. Clinical reagent
(amino acids in urine, esp in phenylketonuria). HPFCS type meets
the high requirements of electrical industry.
Ferric chloride solution is high-efficiency flocculant
for purifying, deodorizing, decolorizing or sterilizing treatment
of industrial effluents and civil sewage.
2. Compared with other flocculant, it has following
advantages:
- Saves 40% of cost compared with solid ferric
chloride at equivalent concentration.
- Simple to use, no need for dissolution.
- Saves 30% of cost compared with liquid/solid
aluminum sulfate, polyaluminum chloride, polyferric sulfate.
- Good flocculation property, with faster sedimentation
compared with aluminum flocculant.
- Reduces sludge production, hence saving cost
on sludge treatment.
- General purpose, broad pH range:4-12£¬particularly
6-10.
