ethylene, purifying hydrogen peroxide. As acidulant and flavor,
synergistic antioxidant and sequestrant in food. Pharmaceutic
aid (solvent). In dental cements; process engraving; rustproofing
of metals before painting; coagulating rubber latex; as analytical
reagent.
